Our day-to-day business operations are carried out by our Managing Director – our only full-time employee who is supported by volunteers from around the world. Your tasks during the internship would vary a lot and thus the internship would provide you with a great way to look into different fields such as communication, PR, project management and event planning. We are based out of a really nice co-working space in Berlin (the wonderful Machwerk) and thus you would also get access to a great community of other awesome social and sustainability initiatives.
Key tasks could include:
- writing / posting content for our website (jobs / events / news)
- managing of our social media presences
- interaction with and management of our online community
- assisting with event management and planning
- drafting of workshop reports
Optional tasks include:
- assisting with project management
- developing new project proposals
The internship requires a minimum of 3 months but could be longer and we are a bit flexibel in terms of starting date, though Mid-January is preferred. Applicants should be currently enrolled in a university program.
Benefits
We are here to support your learning and offer you invaluable real-life experience in an interesting and international environment. We can’t compete with the big companies on salary or lunch specials (we offer a compensation of 500€ / month during the internship), but we will make sure that you have the freedom to try out new things with the guidance needed to make them happen!
Join us if you want more creative freedom, opportunity and responsibility than in any other role. Join us if you’re willing to say yes to things even if you’re not sure how to do it! We might throw you into cold water and challenge you to try new things, but we will make sure that you will be able to swim and conquer any challenges
We are a small non-profit run like a start-up – hence our resources are precious and we’re constantly asked to make magic with what we’ve got! We promise that what you learn and create with us will stay with you forever.
